The world is waking up to the fact that, when given what the body needs, it is capable of healing things once thought incurable. Tooth decay, in particular, is a good example! Research into the underlying nature of tooth decay is being revealed to the public, along with the fact that there are proven remedies that work.
The lie about cavities
According to the American Dental Association, “cavities occur when carbohydrate-rich foods (sugar or starch), such as milk, sodas, dried fruit, cakes, or candy, remain in contact with the teeth. Bacteria living in the mouth thrive on these food remnants and produce acid that destroys tooth enamel, causing cavities.”
But there are problems with this theory:
There are indigenous populations who have a diet rich in carbohydrates and who never brush their teeth, and where almost no one has cavities.
Bacteria do not consume refined sugar or white flour, due to the lack of nutrients.
Foods consumed by bacteria, such as milk, vegetables, meat, fish, or fruit, are rarely involved in the development of cavities.
So if the modern explanation of cavities is inaccurate, what is the true cause of cavities?
The real reason for the appearance of cavities
According to Dr. Weston Price and other pioneers of dentistry, cavities are caused by 3 factors:
Not enough mineral salts in your diet.
Not enough vitamins A, D, E and K in your diet
Too many unnatural nutrients (e.g., processed foods) that the intestines are unable to absorb properly. The presence of phytic acid greatly influences this factor.
If your diet lacks vitamins or minerals for a long period, or if it contains high levels of phytates (from cereals, nuts, fruits and dried vegetables), the composition of the blood, the calcium level and the phosphorus level are unbalanced; this means that the body has to pump these minerals from wherever it can find them, namely… in the bones, which will cause the deterioration of teeth and bones.
