House bread of almost 2 kg for less than 3.50 PLN – crispy crust and fluffy crust

Place all the ingredients in the bowl of a pastry robot or food processor. Knead the dough for at least 10 minutes, until it is smooth and elastic.

Form a ball of dough, cover it and let it rise. After the first lift, knead briefly and let it rise again until it doubles in volume.

Place the dough on a worktop and shape it into bread or round roll. Place it on parchment paper in a baking dish or pan.

Spray the top and bottom of the dough slightly with water. Cover and let it rise. When the dough has doubled in volume, incise it with a sharp knife or a razor blade and spray it with water again.

Cooking :

Bake in preheated oven at 250 °C (472 °F) for 15 minutes.

Lower the temperature to 200 °C (492 °F) and continue cooking for 40 minutes.

Then remove the lid or aluminum foil (if you use an ovenproof dish with a lid) and continue cooking until the bread is golden brown and forms a characteristic crust.

At the exit of the oven, lightly spray the bread of water for a crispy crust.

The result?

A crispy homemade bread outside, soft on the inside and fragrant, for less than 3.50 PLN! Perfect for sandwiches, soups or just with butter.
