Prepare the ingredients:
Wash and cut the broccoli into small florets. Slice the chicken, carrot, and bell pepper.
Cook the chicken:
Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a pan or wok over medium heat. Add the chicken and cook until lightly browned and fully cooked. Remove and set aside.
Stir-fry the vegetables:
In the same pan, add the remaining oil. Sauté the garlic for a few seconds, then add broccoli, carrot, and bell pepper. Stir-fry for 3–5 minutes until slightly tender but still crisp.
Combine everything:
Return the chicken to the pan. Add soy sauce and oyster sauce. Mix well.
Thicken the sauce:
Pour in the cornstarch mixture and stir until the sauce thickens and coats everything nicely.
Season and serve:
Add salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot, preferably with rice or noodles.
