Tartar is a yellow or brown mineral deposit on teeth that can lead to periodontitis, especially if it builds up and isn’t removed. Most of you probably go to the dentist to address this problem, but you can also perform this procedure at home. Just keep in mind that these are more preventative measures, and none will remove tartar as quickly as your dentist once you have a buildup.
To remove tartar buildup at home, there are several treatment options:
Oral care
Baking soda
Water
Activated charcoal
Salt
Lemon
Coconut oil
Toothpick
Toothbrush
1. Brush your teeth with lemon juice and rinse to remove the acidity.
2. The most common and effective way to remove tartar is with baking soda . Mix one tablespoon of baking soda with ½ teaspoon of salt in a cup. Then, rinse your toothbrush with warm water and dip it in the mixture. Brush your teeth and spit it out. The whole process should take five minutes.
