How to use mouse tail
Tea: it can be prepared from dry herb, usually 1 teaspoon per cup of hot water. Leave to infuse for 5-10 minutes, then strain.
Compresses: the cooled infusion can be used externally for slightly irritated areas if the skin tolerates it.
Tincture: it is used only according to the indications on the product or on the recommendation of a specialist.
Essential oil: do not swallow or apply directly to the skin. It must be properly diluted and used with caution.
Who needs to be careful
The mouse tail is not suitable for everyone. It is good to ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice if:
you are pregnant or breastfeeding;
you have an allergy to plants from the Asteraceae family;
you take anticoagulants or heart treatments;
you have oscillating voltage;
you’re going to have surgery;
you have chronic diseases;
you want to administer it to children;
you have allergic reactions, itching or irritation after use.
Pregnant women should avoid mouse tail, as some sources recommend caution in pregnancy.
