“Seriously?”
“I don’t want any trouble.”
The attendant did not move.
“Your bag will need to come off the seat, ma’am.”
“So ANYONE can just wander into first class now?” the entitled woman snapped.
Mrs. Clooney lowered her eyes.
“I can sit somewhere else.”
“No, ma’am,” the attendant said. “You paid for this seat.”
“I can sit somewhere else.”
The woman in white removed her handbag with two fingers, as though the request itself had dirtied it.
Mrs. Clooney slid into the window seat.
