Judge Calder turned several pages. “There is also a later transfer agreement included. Unsigned.”
“Yes,” I said.
Adrian finally spoke. “Because she refused.”
I looked at him. “Because you brought it to me two weeks after my mother died and told me it was routine housekeeping.”
